Pre-semester briefing and future plannings

Two days, or should I say not more than 36 hours, I'm gonna back to INTI and start the 5th semester of college life. It's took me some time to think about the future, and the decision had been made. After this semester over, I won't be continuing my studies in INTI and leave my further studies over at the States, this meaning next semester would be my last. 

Reasons why it was last, I concerned about all the problems and made into a very deep consideration during the semester break, one and a half years of studies is really tiring and stressful, maybe it's time to take a break. Plus, there was not any more subjects that available me to take, so there's no point for spending more time and money on college. Regarding to the decision, my parents respect and give support for my decision, as long everything running smooth and going according to the plan, thanks for being understanding and I do appreciate it.  

What after the semester, well, I don't really know yet, but definitely not running away from the word "money", yep, WORKING, since I'm heading to the States at the end of the year, an amount of money would be good for me and help to spare the financial aid from my parents. What, where, when to work is the problem, but nah, I leave this to think during the semester. Now I just need to focus on my studies, which the psychology subject that I took next semester, this is my major subject and the main priority of the semester, can't afford to screw it up. 

On the other hand, I also looking forward for a trip to Singapore with Reyhan, Daniel, Rishanty and Praveen. At there, we'll join Taufik and he'll be our tour guide all the way as we visit his home country. This also part of the farewell to him as he was scheduled to leave to Minnesota for pursuing his further studies. It's been a while that I been to Singapore, the last time was, errrr....12 years ago? I was 7 years by that time then, this time revisiting Singapore, it's not doubt that it had change alot. 

As people said: "Don’t waste your time looking back at what you’ve lost. Move on, life is not meant to be traveled backwards." I was the looking forward-type, I cherish all the past moment that I had and hoping for a better and brighter future, may the god bless and all the best to me. 

Semester break doing's

Well, I still have 2 weeks of semester break before went back for school, before the break, I made myself a to-do list, listed quite a number of task I need to complete during the break and no more wasting time on internet or computer games. There's a book/ movie called Eat, Pray, Love, and I try to avoid myself from fall into another variant, Eat, Play, Sleep.

First to-do, LOSE BELLY FAT= LOSE WEIGHT!! 
since step foot inside the college life, everyday's cycle is almost like, eat, study, play, sleep.
what is missing? Sports!! 3 weeks ago, had a basketball session with my friend before the finals.
expectation, score at least 10 points, reality, don't mention the points, I doubt myself even no more than 4 field goals attempt, tiredness really bought me down! So, for the sake of a nice/ sexy body shape, to attract more girls  (errrhmmm), to having a more healthy lifestyle. In order to do this, I tried this....

Mike Chang's Six Pack Shortcuts!! of course, not so fast as you expected to have sixpack within a month or something, Cut off belly fat is the priority, with Mike Chang's 5 minute After-Burner Workout, which I do it daily, associated with a healthy eating diet, I certainly hope can have my previous body shape back (No belly Fat attached of course) for the workout, you can check it out here on YouTube.

Second to-do list, buy myself a camera. Not to mention the phone's camera, despite how good the megapixel is gonna be, the quality will never comparable/ better than the camera does. Brand selection, this is the tough one, different brand had their own features, then their pros and cons combined together and made you struggle from choosing between them, then made you regret and cry like a baby afterwards. Therefore, RESEARCH, SURVEY, and COMPARE, is what I did.

Why DSLR? well first, interest of course, having a hobby of photography is better than spending hour on gaming or sit there and suck my thumbs, good camera meaning good photo quality, investment of camera in return of good memories, definitely valuable.

At last, finish the entire season of TV shows!! inspired by friends, started watching How I Met Your Mother and The Big Bang Theory, I prefer to watch sit-coms rather than those stupid dramas.

Farewell, my 4th

I'm back for the blog!!! (where's the firework, or hand clapping?) *fine nevermind.
btw, this is gonna be a long story to go on, because I HAVE TOO MANY STORIES TO SHARE!!! 

May 3rd 2012, I've completed my 4th semester at INTI IU, this semester is the most important and the most interesting chapters in my university life. First, challenge of this semester, 4 subjects plus 1 MPW and a TOEFL test, but I managed to survive, as I recalled correctly, once somebody I knew, he told  WHOLE LIFE OF YOURS IS A WAR, SURVIVAL IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY.

These people were AWESOME!! :D
All of them having the same similarities, FRIENDLY!!! well, that's the important part to bond with other people in the society isn't it? I really appreciate and happy to be friend with them! btw, Taufik and Reyhan was living in my block also!!! ( I already knew Taufik live above my floor but I only knew Reyhan was my opposite neighbour on my start of 4th sem lol)

Dinner at Jogoya!! again, one of the expensive buffet I ever ate, and the dude's playing FIFA 12 on iPad cause play in room or cybercafe is too mainstream lol :D

Reyhan and Daniel, who them were applying to U.K and Canada, I will visit to you guys if I had the chance (and money of course)  to go over U.K or Canada lol.
For Taufik and Edwin, who is going to Minnesota and Iowa on August, all the best to you guys, I see you guys this end of the year or next year semester break in US!! :D
Rishi and I were planning to transfer this end of the year, so all the best to us and for Vin and Praveen, I see you guys next year at US :)

Second part, return to the classes. Two Borges subject this semester meaning got two trials lah, so you can imagine how busy and hectic it can be behind all the hard works.

First of his subject, Philosophy, mind-fucked subject, requirements for class ( excluding the Dr.B basic rule)
READ BEFORE COMING TO CLASS, SIT IN CIRCLE, TALK AND DISCUSS ( If you don't know how to answer never mind, only get shot by his sarcasm for at least 15minutes), for avoiding this, I sit the at the corner of the circle formation, which is also near to Dr. Borges, people said " The safest place is always near to the dangerous) and this prove is DEFINITELY VALID.  


 
The defence team!! mission objective: to defend the DeeJay from death sentences because his music is too loud then two people get killed because their ear cannot tahan lol, I'm just joking, this is actually about the star chamber vigilante case, about the cop kill two criminals and blah blah blah, conclusion : Mistrial zzz

The second subject, Sociology, I found it quite interesting cause it's part of my major, in class I knew a number of first semester student, they were really awesome, in some way, it was quite good to work as a team with them, despite having less experience, but they have the potential to deal with it, with the hardwork payoff, formed our prosecuting team :)

Our trial objective : to prosecute the main suspect of baby-selling case, lots of development, complicated storyline, blah blah blah, conclusion: mistrial ( zzz, it's my third case already!!)

But, whatever the conclusion was, the main point was, FUN!!

Music is timeless, so does the memory, as somebody said: " if you din't do something when you're young, then you have nothing to laugh when you get older". I had concluded my 4th semester and ready to move-on to my probably lase semester at the start of 28th of may, let's hope for the best next semester, as I ready to go :) 

2012, 我人生的第19年，
很有那种预感，今年我会有很大的突破，
不懂为什么会有酱的想法，
多多少少和我太过自信的性格有关，
希望越大，失望越大
我尽量不去期望那么多，只希望今年会是很美好的一年。

人生的19岁，我今年继续往着我的目标前进，
4年前Plan的美国升学之旅，去年已经完成了一半，
今年很希望可以完成这段路程，
去年的Plan，没有很仔细，
就是脑袋想到什么，就要尽量去完成的Plan，

对啦！不像电话，没有Alarm提醒我，
我根本一点都不想打开它zzzz
除了这个，而且要有动力！！
对!! 就是Motivation！！！

这个嘛，还没想到，
多多少少也会跟出国有关 :D
在另外的国度，体验不同的生活，
文化啦，天气啦，外国的辣妹啦
Erhmm，
总之就是对这些生活很期待就对了。

今年的Plan：
1.TOEFL一定要考过关！我不想再付那个干死人贵的500多块！
2.其他科目一定要考好，好到够够力那种！
3.找到一所好的美国大学，不是Harvard 或Ivy League那种啦，
  那种太High Standard，有进去，可能就没有办法出来了。
4.改善自己的生活，早早睡，早早醒。
5.减肥 =D


听起来很够力，但是我还是给它这个表情。

祈祷，希望我能完成20岁前的计划。
祈祷，希望我家人个个身体健康。
祈祷，今年的我比去年的我过得更好。

课堂上最吸引人的部分，莫过于使用实才教学，
才会让人真正地领悟课里的内容，
就好像美国历史，教授使用Trial 来取代Assignment，
让学生演出历史人物，发掘历史事实的真相，
这样的教学，实在让我受益不浅。
